What is Occupational Therapy?
Occupational therapy uses a combination of exercises and hands-on techniques to create freedom of movement and a pain-free life. An Occupational Therapist (OT) uses purposeful activity in a variety of settings to reduce physical disability.
Our OT’s specialize in hand therapy as well. Hand therapy is a specialization for the treatment and rehabilitation of upper-body surgeries, injuries or disorders.
The goal is typically to treat and resolve traumatic and soft-tissue injuries such as repetitive motion syndromes.
